The Four P's of Freedom

Personal, Parental, Professional, and Public. Public means human life craft in community — charity and service. It is not political.

This is a member’s One Mission page: a guiding light in your own words, then goals and objectives you set and keep. Biology first. The page is a tool under stewardship — tool not throne. OMNI may help you write. It does not set the aim, rank the lanes, or hold the archive. The archive stays with you.

One Mission

The guiding light is yours. This site does not supply it. Write one to three sentences in your own words — what you are steering by this season — then give each lane a direction and a few steps you can check.

Goal
The direction, in plain words. Stable for a season, such as a year.
Objective
A concrete, checkable step toward the goal. One to three per goal, each with a “done looks like” line and a target date.
Door
Which sister site helps with that lane. The door is a workshop. You remain the steward.
Steward check
One honest question at review: does this still serve life — body, home, neighbor?

Four lanes

Hold the lanes together, the way the Forge holds Philosophy last as the integrator. No single lane runs off alone. Examples below are samples, not a member’s mission.

Personal

Body, mind, soul, household craft

A direction for your own life and health, character and devotion. An objective looks like a habit or skill with a visible check.

Example · not a member

Goal. Keep my body strong enough to work the land at 60.

Objective. Walk 30 minutes, 5 days a week, through end of quarter — done looks like 60 logged walks.

Goal. Grow in daily devotion.

Objective. Morning quiet time before screens, 6 days a week for 8 weeks.

Parental · parent-led

Raising and teaching the next builders

What the parent wants to cultivate at home: curiosity, craft, faith, kindness. An objective looks like a shared, parent-led learning activity.

Interest and learning only. The parent writes and holds this lane. No child accounts, no child data, and no pay or job language for children.

Example · not a member

Goal. Grow a love of how things work at home.

Objective. One build-together afternoon per month this season (for example a small garden bed), parent-led — done looks like three finished builds.

Professional

Product, service, livelihood

A product or service that serves others and sustains the household, toward freedom from personal debt — the Forge’s graduation idea. An objective looks like a shipped or sold unit of real work, or a skill proven by evidence. Keep amounts off this page.

Example · not a member

Goal. Offer one honest product that pays its own way.

Objective. List my first item and complete one person-to-person sale by the target date — done looks like one delivered order and one note of feedback.

Public · not political

Neighbor and community craft

Service, charity, and giving in your own community. An objective looks like a named act of service or giving with a check. Out of scope: parties, candidates, campaigns, and policy advocacy.

Goal. Be useful to my street.

Objective. Help at one community work day per month for a season.

Goal. Give with intent.

Objective. Choose one charity cause and set a personal giving rhythm (amount kept private).

Parental
